This my personal blog on theology, faith, and culture, which I&#8217;ve been writing on and off since 2004.  It&#8217;s interesting (to me, anyway) to see how my thoughts have changed and evolved, and yet stayed centered on the same values, through all those years.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I teach law at <a href=\"http:\/\/law.shu.edu\/\">Seton Hall University Law School<\/a>.  I also hold an M.A.T. from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fuller.edu\/\">Fuller Seminary<\/a> and a Ph.D. in Systematic and Philosophical Theology from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nottingham.ac.uk\/\">University of Nottingham<\/a>.  I&#8217;m a member of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westside.org\/\">West Side Presbyterian Church<\/a> in Ridgewood, New Jersey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">I&#8217;m the author of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Law-Theology-Questions-Contemporary-Perspectives\/dp\/1506434320\/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=opderbeck&amp;qid=1577567841&amp;sr=8-1\">Law and Theology:  Classic Questions and Contemporary Perspectives<\/a> (Minneapolis:  Fortress Press 2019).  I&#8217;ve also published numerous law review and other journal articles.
