And anticipating this Isaiah exclaimed: \u201cHades was embittered when it encountered thee in the lower regions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It was embittered, for it was abolished!<\/p>\n<p>It was embittered, for it was mocked!<\/p>\n<p>It was embittered, for it was purged!<\/p>\n<p>It was embittered, for it was despoiled!<\/p>\n<p>It was embittered, for it was bound in chains!<\/p>\n<p>It took a body and came upon God!<\/p>\n<p>It took earth and encountered heaven!<\/p>\n<p>It took what it saw but crumbled before what it had not seen!<\/p>\n<p>O death, where is thy sting?
