1 Jn 4:11-18<\/p>\n

Beloved, if God so loved us,
\nwe also must love one another.
\nNo one has ever seen God.
\nYet, if we love one another, God remains in us,
\nand his love is brought to perfection in us.<\/p>\n

This is how we know that we remain in him and he in us,
\nthat he has given us of his Spirit.
\nMoreover, we have seen and testify
\nthat the Father sent his Son as savior of the world.
\nWhoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God,
\nGod remains in him and he in God.
\nWe have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us.<\/p>\n

God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.
\nIn this is love brought to perfection among us,
\nthat we have confidence on the day of judgment
\nbecause as he is, so are we in this world.
\nThere is no fear in love,
\nbut perfect love drives out fear
\nbecause fear has to do with punishment,
\nand so one who fears is not yet perfect in love.<\/p>\n
