Skeel explains why there is a a dearth of Christian legal scholarship (partly the influence of legal positivism, partly the evangelical \/ fundamentalist withdrawal from society prior to the 1970’s), and argues for a Christian theory of law rooted in Kuyper’s notion of sphere sovereignty.
