This entry in the student manual is particularly helpful:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Causes of Accidents \/ Striking a Submerged Object:<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;Plain bad luck, as many times there is no way to see a submerged or \tpartially submerged object before striking it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gee, thanks for the tip!<\/p>\n<p>And this one: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Every boater should take a first aid course, including CPR and treatment of hypothermia.
