Good article. Your main point seems to be a description of a God that is distinctly different in a monotheistic sense. I’ve heard N.T. Wright discuss this before that the early Jewish understanding of monotheism wasn’t necessarily in how to understand the inner nature of God (oneness within) but distinctly opposed to both a pantheistic and panentheistic approach – apart from creation and yet imminent.
